Bob Pessel is the Vice President of Pharmacy for Valu Merchandisers. Bob graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Sciences and has been involved in the pharmacy industry for 34 years. Bob’s professional passion is to help the independent pharmacy business succeed. Bob’s outside interest include sports, Halloween and books by David Baldacci.

Adam Salus is the VMC Pharmacy Operations Manager. He has over 20 years of pharmacy experience with retail, long term care and corporate pharmacy. Adam has worked as a pharmacy technician in store, trainer, operations, buyer, and supervisor. As Pharmacy Operations Manager he is here to support our members on all day to day operations of the VMC Pharmacy program. This includes, but is not limited to, providing data and managed care support, monitoring service programs, providing communications on updates, compliance, and certifications. Adam is also the point contact for onboarding of new members, representing our members at national associations and conferences, and working with vendors and other members to make the program a success. In his free time Adam enjoys watching wrestling and spending time with his husband, Billy, and their two dogs.
Tyler Woods is one of the Pharmacy District Managers on the VMC Pharmacy Team. Tyler is a 2009 pharmacy graduate from the University of Missouri - Kansas City and has a wide variety of pharmacy experience including compounding, long-term care, 340B and specialty. With a passion for independent pharmacy and practice progression, Tyler aggressively works to ensure continued success and growth for our pharmacy teams. Outside of work you can find him enjoying time with his wife and two sons or at Arrowhead cheering on the Chiefs.
Erica Fett is the VMC Pharmacy Financial Analyst. Erica earned a Masters in Accounting in 2010 from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and has a depth of experience in financial processes and systems. She strives to support retailer pharmacies with the best financial and operation information available. Additionally, Erica supports the internal VMC pharmacy program financial results. Erica is never far from her family, crafting, or cell phone games. Any free time is spent with her son and husband.
